Two municipalities in Negros Occidental have new police chiefs.
PCapt. Rodrigo Martinez was designated as officer-in-charge (OIC) of the Binalbagan Municipal Police Station while PCapt. Armel Lasap was named to the same position at Moises Padilla Municipal Police Station.
In his message during the recent assumption of office ceremony, PCol. Dennis Wenceslao, director of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, reminded them to be models of professionalism and dedication in fulfilling their duties as guardians of peace.
Wenceslao also urged the police chiefs to lead with integrity and commitment, stressing that their leadership is expected to inspire positive change and strengthen public trust in law enforcement.
PCapt. Jyan Carlo Mania earlier assumed the position of E.B. Magalona Municipal Police Station OIC, replacing PMaj. Eric Doronilla.
Mania used to be the aide-de-camp of PBrig. Gen. Arnold Thomas Ibay, regional director of Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region. | GB
