A missing person was found dead at Barangay Guadalupe, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental on Sept. 27, police report showed.
The body of alias “Fernando”, 79, was seen floating in a river at Sitio Flum in Hacienda San Jose, a day after he was reported missing by his family on Sept. 26.
His cadaver was retrieved by personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard and brought to the St. Francis Funeral Homes.
Meanwhile, a farmer was also found dead at Purok Malipayon in Barangay Sibucao, San Enrique town.
The victim, identified as Jurly Sevilla, 55, was a resident of Purok 1 in the same barangay.
The cause of his death is still being determined by the San Enrique Police Station. | GB
