Three drug personalities were arrested in separate police buy bust operations in Negros Occidental on Nov. 4, yielding about P33,000 worth of suspected shabu and dried marijuana leaves.
The apprehension of a 39-year-old fish vendor, whose identity was withheld by the police, at Purok Sigay in Barangay Zone 3, Talisay City, resulted in the recovery of about three grams of suspected shabu valued P20,400, P500 marked money, and P550 in cash.
Another operation at Purok Bolinao in Barangay Zone 6, Cadiz City yielded 1.3 grams of suspected shabu worth P8,840 and P500 in marked money.
The arrested 29-year-old suspect, whose identity was also withheld by the police, is now locked up at the Cadiz police custodial facility.
The apprehension of a minor at Purok Esmeralda in Barangay Poblacion, Bago City led to the recovery of an estimated 32 grams of suspected dried marijuana leaves with a market value of P4,000. | GB
