Megaworld breaks ground for Kingsford Hotel Bacolod

Property giant Megaworld has officially broken ground for the 12-storey Kingsford Hotel Bacolod inside the company’s 34-hectare The Upper East township in Bacolod City.

To be managed and operated by Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, and scheduled to open by 2028, the hotel will feature almost 300 rooms, as well as a variety of “first-in-Bacolod” amenities, including its own executive lounge exclusive to VIP guests.

Leading the groundbreaking ceremony for the new hotel was Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso, chief operating officer, of Megaworld, the company said in a press release.
