Mayor Peña reelected LMP-NegOcc president

Pulupandan Mayor Miguel Peña was reelected on Friday as the president of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP)-Negros Occidental Chapter.

The new set of officers immediately took their oath office before Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson.

Toboso Mayor Richard Jaojoco was elected vice president and Cauayan Mayor John Rey Tabujara as secretary general.

Others were Pontevedra Mayor Jose Maria Alonso – treasurer; Hinobaan Mayor Daph Anthony Reliquias – auditor; and Murcia Mayor Gerry Rojas – public information officer.

The board of directors is composed of Don Salvador Benedicto Mayor Nehemiah de la Cruz  (first district),  Manapla Mayor Mikaela Escalante (second district), E.B. Magalona Mayor Matthew Louis Malacon (third district), San Enrique Mayor Jilson Tubillara (fourth district), La Castellana Mayor Añejo Nicor (fifth district), and Candoni Mayor Ray Ruiz  (sixth district). | GB
