All is set for the MassKara sa Panaad on Oct. 10 to 16 at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.
Provincial Administrator, Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, said Tuesday that almost all 32 towns and cities in Negros Occidental, including Bacolod City, will open their respective booths and pavilions to the public for one week.
The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office is also fielding 181 police personnel to secure the Panaad sites.
“We will give the people of Bacolod and Negros a good show, our new and first MassKara sa Panaad,” Diaz said.
There will also be a food parade to showcase various delicacies that will be available in the pavilions of the LGUs, he added.
The different tourism officers, representatives of the Philippine National Police, Philippine Army, Bureau of Fire Protection, Bacolod Traffic Authority Office, and emergency response teams met yesterday to discuss preparations for the MassKara sa Panaad.
“All hands on deck for the nearing MassKara sa Panaad,” Diaz declared.
The provincial government of Negros Occidental has extended P100,000 financial assistance to each LGU that will participate in the event./GB
