The eight Lin-ay sang Sipalay 2024 will be sashed and presented in a ceremony at the NGC Park in Brgy. Gil Montilla, Sipalay City in Negros Occidental at 5 p.m. today, Feb. 28.
They are Andrea Ann Alojado, representing Barangay San Jose, Angelica Grapa for barangays Manlucahoc and Camindangan, Julie May Larroza for barangays Mambaroto and Cabadiangan, Merian Paulynne Gajardo for barangays 1, 2, and 5;
Sheen Salatandra – barangays Cartagena and Canturay, Vanessa Ann Geronca – barangays 3 and 4, Lara Kaye Ibañez for Maricalum, Nabulao, and Cayhagan; and Lyca Mondejar for barangays Gil Montilla and Nauhang.
The Sipalay City government, through its City Tourism Development and Promotion Office, in partnership with the Sigahum Artists Association, meanwhile, launched the 5th Emagina Visual Arts exhibit at the Sipalay City Hall lobby Feb. 26.
The exhibit will run until March 27, and made possible through the efforts and leadership of Mayor Maria Gina Lizares, specifically through the Emagina Arts Program, and aims to promote, hone, and showcase the talents of Sipalaynons through the arts. | Lin-ay sang Sipalay, LGU photos
