A graduate of the Binalbagan Catholic College (BCC) in Negros Occidental will receive a cash incentive of P100,000 for topping the June 2025 Special Professional Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers in the Secondary Level.
Reyno Jison Abasolo ranked number one among the 399 examinees, with a rating of 90.60 percent.
The amount will come from Fifth District Rep. Emilio Bernardino Yulo III, who commended Abasolo for his achievement as a result of hard work.
“We hope he will serve as an inspiration to other students,” the lawmaker said, noting that many graduates from provincial schools have been making it to the top 10 of the licensure examinations.
Yulo’s congressional office extends scholarships to more than 2,000 students in the Fifth District, including those from Binalbagan. | GB
