The La Carlota City government commended Krisha Marie Gan Badillo, a graduate of the West Visayas State University College of Medicine, for landing in Top 5 of the Physicians Licensure Examination (PLE), with a rating of 86.50 percent.
Badillo, who hails from La Carlota, also ranked first in the 2018 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination, with a rating of 89.05 percent.
Meanwhile, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said April 14 that 1,901 passed, out of 3,827 examinees, or 49.67 percent, in the PLE given by the Board of Medicine in various testing centers across the country in March.
Adrian Eleazar Go, from Cebu Institute of Medicine, ranked first with a rating of 87.75 percent.
Registration for the issuance of the professional identification card and certificate of registration will be done online starting on May 22, the PRC added. | CGC
