The Public Employment Services Office in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, was the regional winner in the 1st class component city category in the Search for Best PESO 2021 in Western Visayas.
The annual award was given by the Department of Labor and Employment and PESO Region 6, during the PESO Western Visayas Congress in Iloilo recently, a press release from the city said.
A Certificate of Achievement was also presented to PESO Kabankalan for “Exemplary Accomplishment of Best Job Implementer”.
Mayor Pedro Zayco Jr. and Vice Mayor Raul Rivera presented the award to Elma Bachita of PESO-Kabankalan during the regular session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod at the City Hall Sept. 2.*
