The city government of Kabankalan in Negros Occidental is mourning the untimely death of Dr. Gladys G. Patindol, medical officer IV, who passed away due to the coronavirus disease 2019.
“She was a compassionate doctor and we will always be thankful for the excellent service she rendered as a doctor in the Kabankalan District Hospital,” the city posted tonight on its official Facebook page.
The city government, led by Mayor Pedro Zayco Jr. and Vice Mayor Raul Rivera extend love, prayers, and condolences to the family, it added.
As of Nov. 2, the city has 61 active cases and 111 deaths. It logged 2,374 confirmed COVID cases since the start of the pandemic, with 2,202 recoveries/ | NND
