Jenny Cris Villacampa, who represented Julio Ledesma National High School in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, was crowned the Pintaflores Festival Queen 2021 and the pageant was shown through Facebook Live Nov. 5.
Villacampa also bagged the People’s Choice Awards, Best in Group Performance, and Best in Production Number. She took home P50,000 in cash prize, aside from the P5,000 worth of services from Brey’s Beauty Lounge.
Sharame Villabeto, of Central Philippine State University, was first runner-up. She also won the Miss Photogenic award, Best in Solo Performance, and Ms. Brey’s Beauty Lounge – San Carlos where she also got P5,000 worth of services, on top of the P30,000 in cash prize.

Marieth Pescadero of Colegio de Sta. Rita de San Carlos Inc. was second runner-up and received P20,000 in cash prize. She was also named Ms. Ponce Automobile Corp.
Jenelyn Baylosis of Sipaway National High School won the Best in Festival Costume for her vibrant and stunning outfit among the seven candidates.
Mayor Renato Gustilo thanked and appreciated every candidate for their efforts in making the Pintaflores Festival very successful despite the ongoing pandemic, a press release from the city said.
Gustilo added that he extended the curfew hours, from 12 midnight until 4 a.m. so the people of San Carlos can enjoy the festivity. He also encouraged everyone to get vaccinated and to continue to observe the health protocols so that they will be able to have fun while being safe from COVID-19.
The Pintaflores Festival Queen 2021 was made possible through the City Tourism Office and its working committee, with minimum health and safety protocols observed all throughout the competition. | NND
