Jeatrice Joie Duro, 22, who represented Barangay Paraiso in this year’s search for Sinigayan Queen, took home the crown at the grand coronation night March 18 at the Sagay City gymnasium.
Duro is taking up Bachelor in English Education at the Philippine Normal University-Visayas, where she continues to develop her skills as a future educator while nurturing her love for performance and creativity, according to the Sinigayan Queen post.
Her advocacy, “Eskwela for All”, highlights her dedication to promoting accessible and inclusive education for every learner, it added.

The Sinigayan Queen Tourism is Precious Angel Bajada, 17, of Brgy. Old Sagay. She is a HUMSS student at Eusebio Lopez Memorial Integrated School, where she actively develops her voice, vision, and leadership skills.
Sinigayan Queen Charity is Sofia Nichole Bañola, 20, representing Brgy. Fabrica. She is a second-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing student from the State University of Northern Negros, balancing intellect with elegance.
The 1st Princess is Mary Grace Chuatico, 18, of Brgy. Vito. She is taking up Humanities and Social Sciences at Mount Carmel College of Escalante Inc., where she continues to shape her voice, vision and values.
The 2nd Princess is Trisha Mae Caballos, 19, of Brgy. Lopez Jaena. She is a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English, student at the State University of Northern Negros, where she sharpens her communication skills and passion for teaching.
The rest of the candidates, who showcased grace, strength, and confidence on and off the pageant stage, were Mary Grace Emat, 20, who represented Brgy. Colonia Divina; Ryedenah Joy Licera, 19, Poblacion 1; Mariane Teresa Jay-Anne Sinogbuhan, 20, Bulanon; Asterrose Llamado, 17, Sewahon; and Cassandra Marie Caracol, 17, of Poblacion 2.
The search for Sinigayan Queen 2026 is one highlight event of the 30th Sinigayan Festival, that features cultural, sports, and community activities across Sagay City, Negros Occidental, until today, March 20. ||
