Further cementing its position as Bacolod City’s modern central business district, property giant Megaworld’s 34-hectare The Upper East township welcomed its first BPO office tenant Innov8 IT Solutions, a fast-growing outsourcing and IT solutions provider, to No. 1 Upper East Avenue.

The move adds another dynamic enterprise to the growing roster of companies choosing The Upper East as their preferred business address, underscoring rising confidence in the township’s strategic location, master-planned environment, premium office infrastructure, and long-term potential as one of Bacolod’s major business centers.

Innov8 IT Solutions is taking up almost 5,000 square meters of prime office space at No. 1 Upper East Avenue, giving the company a strategic platform for its continued expansion while providing its workforce with a modern, secure, and technology-enabled workplace.

The building itself is a milestone for Bacolod’s office market, being the city’s first-ever LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)-certified office development.

“The arrival of Innov8 IT Solutions is another strong vote of confidence in The Upper East and its growing role as a preferred business address in Bacolod City,” Roland Tiongson, head of Megaworld Premier Offices, said in a statement at the grand opening Sept. 14.

“As No. 1 Upper East Avenue approaches full take-up, we are seeing increasing demand from businesses that recognize the value of locating within a master-planned township,” Tiongson added. “Beyond offering premium office spaces, The Upper East provides an environment where businesses, employees, residents, and lifestyle destinations come together to create a vibrant and productive community.”

A GROWING HUB FOR BUSINESSES

Innov8 IT Solutions provides outsourcing, IT, BPO, and workplace solutions designed to help businesses improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and scalability.

Its president, Michael Yulo, said they are the first in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, to offer employer of record and seat leasing services.

The company has expanded its international reach as it now serves clients across North America, Europe, and Asia, while building a technology-enabled workforce and scalable service model in the Philippines.

The company is among the growing number of companies choosing The Upper East as their business address, joining established and emerging firms from the design, insurance, banking and finance, construction, and other industries that are helping shape the future of the township.

A COMPLETE URBAN ECOSYSTEM

The Upper East continues its transformation as a complete urban ecosystem, where employees can work within the township while having access to residential developments, retail, dining, leisure, and other lifestyle amenities.

“This integrated environment that is unique to The Upper East here in Bacolod is becoming increasingly attractive to companies that recognize that the workplace is no longer just about the office itself, but also about the location, accessibility, quality of the environment, and overall experience it offers employees and clients,” Tiongson added.

Megaworld remains as the Philippines’ largest office landlord and developer with over 1.7 million square meters of office GLA from nearly 90 office developers across the country.

In Bacolod, the company is in the final stages of preparations for the four-storey No. 5 Upper East Avenue, its second office development that is expected to be operational within the year.

This new development will inject almost 9,000 square meters of new premium office space into the market and is expected to generate approximately 10,000 new jobs, particularly in the information technology and business process outsourcing (IT-BPO) sector.

It will showcase Megaworld’s signature state-of-the-art features in office buildings and will also be registered as a LEED-certified development. It will have basement and ground floor parking, and will have sustainability features, including roof gardens, LED lighting in common areas, dual-flush technology for toilets, and double-glazed windows for heat insulation and energy-efficiency. ||
