Gustilo, Carmona declare re-election plans

San Carlos City incumbent Mayor Renato Gustilo, Vice Mayor Christopher Paul Carmona, and party mates announced their bid for re-election in the 2022 National and Local Elections, at 10.9 Resto Grand Function Room in the city Sept. 10.

Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson of Love Negros led the endorsement of official candidates in the 1st district of Negros Occidental, under the Team Unity banner, a press release from the city said this afternoon, Sept 11.

City officials who will seek re-election are Sangguniang Panlungsod members Wilmer Yap, Mark Cui, Benito Gustilo Jr., Philip Gerard Maisog, Carlos Manuel Valmayor, Jose Carlos Villarante, and Jeffrey Hidalgo.

Former SP members Victoriana Cabili and Jonie Uy, and Barangay 4 Captain Armando Laguda Jr., will also run for a seat in the San Carlos City SP.

Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer of the United Negros Alliance was also present at the event. — NND
