Bacolod still under GCQ-HR

Bacolod City will remain under the General Community Quarantine with Heightened Restrictions (GCQ-HR) from October 1-31, while Negros Occidental will be under GCQ, also for the whole month, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque announced tonight.

He said that the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), in its Sept. 30 meeting, decided to place Iloilo Province under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) from October 1-15, together with Apayao, Kalinga, Batanes, Bataan, Bulacan, Cavite, Lucena City, Rizal, Laguna, and Naga City.

Capiz, Iloilo City, and Negros Oriental will be under GCQ-HR, also for the whole month of October, with Abra, Baguio City, Ilocos Sur, Pangasinan, Cagayan, Isabela, City of Santiago, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Quezon, Batangas, Lapu-Lapu City, Bohol, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental, Davao del Norte, Davao Occidental, Butuan City, and Surigao del Sur.

Davao de Oro will also be under GCQ-HR, but only from October 1-15, Roque said.

Aside from Negros Occidental, those under GCQ are Aklan, Antique, Guimaras, Cebu City, Cebu Province, Mandaue City, Siquijor, and Tacloban City in the Visayas, and Ilocos Norte, Dagupan City, Benguet, Ifugao, Tarlac, Marinduque, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Puerto Princesa, Albay, and Camarines Norte for Luzon.

For Mindanao, those under GCQ are Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga City, Misamis Occidental, Iligan City, Davao City, Davao Oriental, Davao del Sur, General Santos City, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Cotabato City, and Lanao del Sur.

The rest will be under Modified General Community Quarantine, Roque, who is also spokesperson of the IATF, said. — CGC
