Arbolario is the last of the three remaining members of the drug group in the police watch list since late last month, Vargas added.

His arrest came following the alleged summary execution on Oct. 20 of Rolyn Gutierrez, and on Oct. 30 of Robert John Aujero, both alleged members of Bugalon Drug Group.

Gutierrez was shot dead by unidentified motorcycle-riding suspects in Purok 4, Brgy. 4, Himamaylan, while Aujero was killed by a gunman, also riding a motorcycle, in Brgy. Aguisan, Himamaylan.

Vargas said Gutierrez ranked 7th in the priority target list on illegal drugs of the city police. Police recovered two fired cartridges of a .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene.

Aujero, on the other hand, ranked 9th in the priority target list on illegal drugs of the Himamaylan police. He succumbed to fatal gunshot wounds in the head.

Meanwhile, Arboloario’s arrest yielded about 2.5 grams of suspected shabu, worth P42,000, and P500 in marked money.

Vargas said Arbolario was categorized as a High Value Individual drug personality, and ranked 6th in the watchlist of the Himamaylan police.

Vargas said the Bugalon Drug Group operates in Kabankalan City and the entire 5th district of Negros Occidental. -GPB
