The city government of Bago marked an important step in strengthening its healthcare services with the opening of the Hemoserve Dialysis Center at the Bago City Hospital Feb. 10.
The newly-opened facility will provide accessible dialysis service to Bagonhons, allowing patients to receive treatment within the city.
The establishment of the dialysis center reflects the partnership between the local government and the private sector in expanding healthcare services and addressing the needs of patients with kidney-related illnesses, the city said in a press release.

The availability of a dialysis center within the Bago City Hospital is expected to ease the burden on patients and their families, who had to travel to other areas for treatment, it added.
Negros Occidental 4th District Board Member Nicholas Yulo, who led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with Mayor Mayette Javellana, city councilors, and Hemoserve executives, said in a post, that the center has 12 hemodialysis machines. ||
