PhilHealth pays P227.5-M for heart attack cases claims

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) said it has released P227.5 million to the Philippine Heart Center (PHC) as payment for benefit claims for Ischemic Heart Disease-Acute Myocardial Infarction (IHD-AMI), or heart attack, for its 459 patients admitted from Dec. 21 to July 18 this year.
