Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson will celebrate his birthday Dec. 13, highlighted by the switch-on of the Christmas tree and lights at the Capitol lagoon grounds and the announcement of the amount of bonus that provincial employees will receive.
Lacson is inviting all Capitol employees to witness the switch-on ceremony at 6 p.m. when he will announce the extra blessings for the provincial government employees this December.
Last week, Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz said the extra bonus might be higher than P40,000, which was the amount received by Capitol workers last year.
Lacson said it will be saddening to give the employees a bonus that will be lower than last year’s.
Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees president Renelo Lastierre said that according to the Provincial Budget Office, there is sufficient fund for the extra bonus. — MML
