Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson has designated Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer as acting governor from Aug. 7 to 9 while he is on travel in Hong Kong for personal reasons.

In Executive Order No. 24-29, series of 2024, Lacson, who is on a leave of absence, also designated Third District Board Member Manuel Frederick Ko as the acting vice governor for the duration of his travel, or until his return, whichever is earlier.

This is to ensure the continuous and effective delivery of basic and social services, the governor said. | GB
