The Gawahon Eco Park and City Resort in Victorias City will re-open on Nov. 14.
But for the time being, only city residents will be accommodated as guests.
Entry to the mountain resort will be limited to 100 persons at a time, the Victorias City government, said.
Its reopening is part of the city’s economic recovery program under the leadership of Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca.
Local tourists are required to present a barangay certificate, or any proof of residency.
They will also be required to fill up a health declaration form prior their entry for contact tracing and monitoring purposes.
Those below 15 years old, above 65 and pregnant women with immunodeficiency, comorbidity, or other health risks will be denied entry.
The eco-park is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Guests of the Okinawan House will also be allowed from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The park will be closed on Mondays for disinfection.
Swimming, picnic, trekking and bird watching activities with guides are allowed, while overnight stay is prohibited for now.
Guests are also advised to observe at all times minimum health protocols, such as wearing of face mask and face shield as well as physical distancing. – GPB
