After a rollback last week, the per-liter price of petroleum products will increase anew, effective today, June 9.

Petron, Shell, and Flying V announced a uniform increase in the pump prices of diesel by P4.85 per liter, gasoline by P0.30/L, and kerosene by P4.75/L.

Seaoil, meanwhile, will increase diesel prices by P5.77/L, gasoline by P0.30/L, and kerosene by P8.10/L.

Unioil will hike diesel prices by P4.90/L, and gasoline by P0.30/L, inclusive of the value-added tax, effective 6 a.m. today, to reflect changes in the international oil market.

PetroGazz’s diesel products will increase by P5.77/L, and P0.30 for gasoline, per its advisory.

The Department of Energy said these changes “are grounded in global oil market movements amid ongoing events in the Middle East affecting global supply and prices.”

It assured the public of continuing efforts to boost oil supply, adding that per its inventory as of June 5, the country’s diesel supply is good for 45 days, gasoline for 44 days, and kerosene for 143 days.

Last week, prices of diesel decreased by P9.26/L, gasoline by P4.76/L, and kerosene by P10.86/L. | CGC
