The Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) honored its four personnel for their exceptional performance, an accomplishment that reflects the highest standards of professionalism and operational excellence.
During the ceremony held at Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City on Jan. 25, awarded were PCapt. Rodrigo Martines Jr., head of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, and staff PCpl. Patrick Aquino, as well as PCapt. Renette Joy Jumuad and PSSg Meldrid Yaeso, both assigned at the San Jose Police Station in Negros Oriental.
PBrig. Gen. Arnold Thomas Ibay, PRO-NIR chief, led the awarding of Medalya ng Kagalingan to the four police personnel, who were commended for their discipline, courage, and integrity.
In a statement, Ibay said their actions not only removed a dangerous individual from the streets, but also reinforced public trust in law enforcement. | GB
