Megaworld’s One Manhattan at The Upper East features several “first-in-Bacolod” amenities and sets a “new standard for vertical living” in the highly-urbanized city.
Harold Geronimo, first vice president and head of PR & Media Affairs at Megaworld Corporation, said that One Manhattan, the third residential condominium inside the 34-hectare premier master-planned community, is Bacolod’s first smart home condo development, with a total of 260 residential units, and parking in two levels.
Its “first-in-Bacolod” amenities include a private dining room, which can accommodate up to 15 people, and features its own kitchen and living area.
The fitness area and game room, meanwhile, both feature loft-style spaces that offer more options and more freedom of movement for One Manhattan residents.
The 14-storey landmark development also boasts of a wall climbing facility, putting green, mini-track oval with gym, and outdoor jacuzzi at the second-level amenity deck, perfect for those who love to stay active.

At the roof deck of One Manhattan is an exclusive bar and lounge that provides an unimpeded view of Bacolod’s cityscape, as well as of Negros mountains in the east and the beautiful sunset on Guimaras Strait in the west.
The condo features a residential lobby with reception and lounge, retail spaces on the ground level, two passenger elevators and one service elevator, a 24/7 security with CCTV monitoring, centralized mail room and drivers’ lounge, and fully addressable fire detection and alarm systems.
One Manhattan residents can also look forward to varied amenities, like adult and kiddie pools, and pool deck; outdoor play areas, reading nooks, and seating lounges; dance/yoga studio; and function room with spillover area.
Located at the corner of Manhattan and Lexington Streets, One Manhattan’s units range from studio (up to 33 square meters), one bedroom (up to 85 square meters), two bedrooms (up to 112 square meters), and three bedrooms (up to 153 square meters).
Except for studio units, all units at One Manhattan come with multiple layout choices, including bi-level garden units and loft-style units with private lanais or balconies.

Each unit is equipped with wireless smart home systems that can be accessed remotely to control lighting fixtures and other smart appliance using a dedicated phone app. Units also come with a dedicated audio-phone intercom system linked directly to the ground floor reception area that allows residents to see their visitors before they are allowed access to their unit.
“The demand for our residential condos in The Upper East remains high, and we are very happy with the market’s response to our developments here in Bacolod City,” Jennifer Palmares-Fong, head of sales and marketing, Megaworld Bacolod, said. “We are especially excited to welcome the new residents of One Manhattan, who will now enjoy the convenience of being in a township, as well as the generous layouts and unique amenities of their new address.” | CGC photos
