Fil-Chinese bizmen give PPEs, medical supplies

The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce Inc., through the Northern Negros of Filipino Chamber of Commerce and Southern Negros of Filipino Chamber of Commerce, turned over personal protective equipment and medical supplies to the city of Bacolod today, Jan. 7.

Mayor Evelio Leonardia and other city officials received 33 sets of PPE suits, 45 washable PPE suits, 40 boxes of face masks, and other essential medical supplies from Roger Yap, chairman of Amity and director of Southern Negros Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc., and corporate secretary Crispin Chua.

The turnover ceremony held at the Bayanihan Center Bacolod and City Health Office at the Annex building of the Bacolod City Government Center, was also attended by City Legal Officer Joselito Bayatan, City Development Council vice chairman George Zulueta, cold-room nurse manager Paulynne Sustento, businessman Dan Atayde, LEIPO designate Jonah Javier, executive assistant in charge of tourism office Sandra Sycip, and assistant secretary to the mayor Emil Sama, a press release from the city said. | NND
