Starting Aug. 29 to Sept. 1, Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer will serve as acting governor of Negros Occidental.
In an executive order, Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson designated Ferrer as acting governor as he will be in Singapore on those days.
This will ensure the continuous and effective delivery of basic and social services, Lacson said.
Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran is also the acting mayor of Bacolod City./GB
