Farm equipment delivered to the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist in Brgy. Tabunan, Bago City, were discovered missing, as the Provincial Legal Office investigates two Capitol employees and three security personnel in connection with the 789 missing sacks of fertilizer.

The three grass cutters, worth P20,000 and delivered to Infotech in Brgy. Tabunan, Bago City, were yet to be received by OPA and discovered missing April 12, Provincial Agriculturist Edmundo Raul Causing said Thursday, April 27.

Causing admitted that the perimeter of Infotech is not secured, and the guard on duty is now under investigation.

In October last year, 789 sacks of fertilizer, with a market value of P2.3 million, were also reported missing.

Causing acknowledged the possibility of an inside job, in connection with the missing grass cutters.

PLO head Alberto Nellas Jr. earlier said that they are also entertaining the possibility of an inside job over the missing sacks of fertilizer, noting that there was no forcible entry or damage to any portion of the warehouse at the Rice Processing Center in Brgy. Tabunan, where the items were supposedly stored./GB
