A family driver was gunned down while on his way home at St. Vincent Village, Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City Sept. 1.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim, 52, was walking toward his house when the suspect approached and repeatedly shot him.
Nearby residents heard around five gunshots, the police said.
The victim’s child told the police that the suspect lives nearby and is believed to bear a grudge against his father despite a previous attempt by the purok chairman to settle their personal dispute.
Police arrested the suspect later that afternoon, and is now in the custody of the Bacolod Police Station 7 for proper disposition and further investigation. | TMD
