The newly completed two-storey government building, which replaced the old and dilapidated Sectoral Desks Office, at the Pantawan People’s Park in Dumaguete City was inaugurated June 16.

The construction of the new building with facilities was funded by the national government so that some offices will be given ample spaces for their operations.

Dumaguete Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo led the inauguration and invited the assembled LGU officials and employees to tour the new building up to the roof deck, which offers a magnificent view of the Dumaguete bay, city port, Rizal Boulevard and Pantawan People’s Park.
