The pump prices of petroleum products will increase anew, effective this morning, Feb. 3.
The per liter price of diesel will increase by P1.60, gasoline by P0.80/L, and kerosene by P1.10/L.
This is the fourth straight week of increases for gasoline, and the fifth for diesel and kerosene since the start of this year.
Pump prices were also raised by P1.40/L for diesel, P0.40/L for gasoline, and P0.80/L for kerosene, effective Jan. 27.
Petron, meanwhile, hiked LPG prices by P1.50/kg, effective Feb. 1, to reflect the international contract price of liquefied petroleum gas for this month.
Oil companies said the successive upward adjustments were still due to lingering geopolitical tensions and global supply concerns, including oil production disruptions and logistical constraints. | CGC
