The Department of Education has extended the deadline to Nov. 30 for submission of documents by conditional Qualified Voucher Applicants (QVAs) under the Senior High School Voucher program amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones, in DO No. 034 dated Oct. 30, said that due to difficulty in securing documents amid strict measures implemented against the coronavirus, the processing of applications with no or incomplete supporting documents is still allowed, and the deadline for submission was moved from Oct. 30 to the end of this month.

Voucher program participating schools may continue to accept conditional applicants who submit their QVA certificate.

But these schools cannot bill for a conditional QVA until the applicant has completed the required supporting documents and has been enrolled for 30 days from the school’s first day of classes, the latest order showed.
