Eleven persons were arrested by the police in a series of buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental on Sept. 27, which yielded about P294,000 worth of suspected shabu.
A couple previously jailed for drug-related offense are back in detention after they were again arrested at Purok Crossing Otso in Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City.
They were identified as alias “Lucil”, 56, and alias “Marlon”, 53.
Their arrest led to the recovery of 26 grams of suspected shabu valued at P176,000.
Nine other drug suspects, among them a minor, were separately arrested in the cities of Bago, Cadiz and Silay as well as in the towns of Ilog, San Enrique, and Binalbagan.
The police recovered 17 grams of suspected shabu and three grams of dried marijuana cigarettes, with a total market value of P117,600. | GB
