A couple was found dead at their residence in Purok Calango, Barangay Iglau-an, Murcia, Negros Occidental on Saturday.
The victims were identified as Feliciano Leagoso, 45, of Barangay Abo-Abo, Murcia, and Susan Hiliwagan, 47, Barangay 16, Victorias City.
According to the Murcia police, investigators recovered from the scene of incident a 12-gauge shotgun, a caliber .22 revolver, seven live ammunition and seven fired cartridges of caliber .45 pistol, an empty shell of 12-gauge shotgun, nine live ammunition of caliber .22 gun, eight live ammunition of 12- gauge shotgun, and a slug of caliber .45 pistol.
Investigators are looking into land dispute as the reason for the death of the couple.
The two cadavers were brought to a funeral parlor in Barangay Blumentritt for post-mortem examination and paraffin casting. | GB
