Operatives of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) seized about P6.9 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust at Purok Villa Esperanza in Barangay Tangub on Saturday.
Arrested suspect, alias “John”, 37, of Barangay 18, is considered a high value individual drug personality.
Aside from the confiscated shabu, operatives also recovered P1,000 marked money, a cellular phone, and P1,000 in cash.
The operation was conducted by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) with assistance from Police Station 8.
On Dec. 11, CDEU operatives seized P714,000 worth of suspected shabu from a suspect during a buy-bust at Purok Lampirong in Barangay 2.
In Pamplona, Negros Oriental, policemen confiscated 103 grams of suspected shabu valued at P700,400 from a lone suspect on Dec. 12. | GB
