Combined operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and police have dismantled a suspected drug den on Tuesday, Feb. 18, in Brgy. 16, Bacolod City.
The operation led to the arrest of four drug suspects.
Backed-up by troopers of the PNP Special Action Force, PDEA operatives also seized about 31 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P108,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, P500 in marked money and P812 in cash.
Also nabbed were alias Roger, 56, the alleged person-in-charge of the drug den.
The suspects face charges for violation of RA 9165, including drug sale, possession, and maintaining a drug den.
Meanwhile, the arrest of a 35-year-old laborer by the police on Wednesday at Purok Calera in Barangay Miranda, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, yielded about P102,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Policemen also seized P13,600 worth of suspected shabu from a certain Pluto, who was arrested during a buy-bust operation Feb. 19 at Barangay II Poblacion, in La Carlota City. | GB
