Operatives of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) confiscated about P3.4 million worth of suspected shabu from two arrested drug suspects during a buy-bust at Purok Kabuhi, Barangay 10 on Nov. 1.
The suspects, alias “John” and alias “Ellan”, are facing charge for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
The operation was conducted by the BCPO City Drug Enforcement Unit led by PLt. Col. Antonio Benitez, with support from the Bacolod Maritime Police Station.
Meanwhile, a certain “Jennifer” was arrested by operatives of Police Station 4 also during a buy-bust at Purok Hervias 3, Barangay Villamonte on Nov. 2.
The suspect yielded 12 grams of suspected shabu valued at P81,600.
From Oct. 21 to 27, the BCPO confiscated 1,134.6 grams of suspected shabu valued at P7.7 million from nine arrested drug suspects. | GB
