Bacolod Mayor Alfredo Benitez has been authorized to sign the contracts of service of 150 part-time faculty members of the Bacolod City College (BCC), covering Aug. 4 to Dec. 27 this year.
City Budget Officer, Maria Imelda Williams, certified the availability of P9 million under the Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE)-Other Professional Services account of the Bacolod City College for year 2023, to cover the salaries of the 150 part-time faculty.
The Sangguniang Panlungsod approved a resolution for the mayor to sign the contracts, following the passage of BCC Board Resolution 07-31-03, recommending the hiring of the 150 part-time instructors for first semester 2023-2024. | CGC
