The Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Negros Occidental will carry out an initial reshuffling of some of its key personnel, starting Aug. 26.

Revo Sorbito is making a comeback as the election officer of Bacolod City, replacing Kathrina Trinio-Caña, who will be reassigned to Silay City.

The position vacated by Sorbito in Cadiz City will be taken over by Claudine Joyce Ballesteros, who will remain as the concurrent acting regional election attorney of Negros Island Region.

From Silay City, Rolando Genito Jr. is up for transfer to Kabankalan City, while Christian Leigh Razonable will be the acting election officer of Bago City.

Ian Lee Ananoria may now focus in his present position as the provincial election supervisor, after his additional duty for Bago City was given to Razonable.

The reshuffling of some election officers in Negros Occidental was approved by Comelec Negros Island Regional Director Lionel Marco Castillano. | GB
