The Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) in Bacolod City is eyeing the Merceditas Montilla District Hospital in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental as its extension medical facility.

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said on Wednesday, March 18 that he received a letter from the CLMMRH management, asking the provincial government to allow them to manage the hospital in Sipalay City.

The Merceditas Montilla District Hospital is among the government medical facilities being managed by the provincial government.

Describing it as a good idea, Lacson said they will study it.

“If ever it will be managed by the CLMMRH, the Sipalay hospital will retain its name,” he added.
