Commission on Higher Education 6 regional director Maura Consolacion Cristobal, inducted the officers of the Association of Local Colleges of Region VI (ALCUR 6) via zoom recently.
The officers are Ma. Johanna Ann Bayoneta, college administrator of the Bacolod City College as president, Mathilde Treñas, college administrator of Iloilo City Community College – vice president, Luciano Magallanes, president of La Carlota City College – secretary, Janice Jennifer Palmares, acting president of Passi City College – treasurer;
Auditor – Georby Manuel, acting administrator of Altavas College, business manager – Deborah Natalia Singson, college administrator–designate of Bago City College, PIO for Panay – Victoria Bautista, college administrator of the Vicente A. Javier Memorial Community College, and PIO for Negros – Karen Lastierre, administrative officer of the Bago City College, its press release said.
Cristobal challenged the 11 local colleges and universities (LUCs) to strive to achieve the institutional recognition to avail of the free higher education subsidy.
The ALCUR 6 is composed of 11 LUCs in the region, namely Altavas College, Bacolod City College, Bago City College, Balete Community College, Batan Integrated College of Technology, Iloilo Community College, La Carlota City College, Libacao College of Science and Technology, Malay College, Passi City College, and Vicente A. Javier Memorial Community College.| NND
