The construction of the P900-million Provincial Administration Center (PAC) is being targeted for completion by June this year, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz II said on Thursday, Jan. 30.

The seven-storey building, which is now 50 percent complete, is located at the North Capitol Road in Bacolod City.

It will house all the Capitol department offices, including the Governor’s Office and the Provincial Administrator’s Office.

Dynamic Builders Inc. won the bidding for the construction, which started in 2022.

“I am hoping that they can really make good on their promises,” Diaz said.

The P900-million budget for the new PAC building includes furniture, fixtures, elevators and a generator set.

To complement the structure, the provincial government established a multi-level parking facility in its motorpool area on Gatuslao St., which can accommodate up to 114 vehicles.

Aside from the ongoing construction of the Provincial Health Office warehouse inside the motorpool area, the provincial government will also construct storage facilities for the Provincial Engineering Office and General Services Office. | GB
