The almost P1-billion new Negros Occidental Provincial Administration Center (PAC) building located in Bacolod City is being targeted for completion by March this year.
Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz II said on Monday (Jan. 19) the installation of window panels is now underway to complete the construction.
The construction of the seven-story PAC building started in 2022.
Diaz said the furniture and fixtures are now being readied for transfer to the new building.
The new PAC building will be occupied by almost all the provincial government departments to establish a one-stop-shop for all public services.
The Office of the Governor and the Office of the Provincial Administrator will remain at the century-old Provincial Capitol building.
A receiving area for the Office of the Governor will be set up at the new PAC building. | GB
