Capitol strengthens emergency response

The emergency response of the Negros Occidental provincial government got a boost, following its acquisition of six ambulance units.

These will be distributed to local government units to support hospital and medical emergencies.

The provincial government also purchased one heavy equipment, a backhoe, for use in clearing operations during disasters and for utilization in infrastructure projects.

Five golf carts were also purchased to enhance mobility and services at the provincial government-managed Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary in Murcia.

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson led the blessing ceremony for the newly-acquired vehicles and equipment at the Provincial Capitol in Bacolod City on Tuesday (Aug. 19). He was joined by Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz II and Provincial Engineer Ernie Mapa. ||
