Capitol gives P1.1-M in insurance benefits

Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson led the distribution of insurance benefits, worth P1.1 million in total, to the families of barangay tanods, officials, employees, and health workers enrolled in the Barangay Insurance Program of the provincial government.

The distribution of checks was held at the Provincial Capitol in Bacolod City Oct. 4, and spearheaded by the Special Programs and Concerns Division, under Engr. Jose Maria Amugod, a press release from the Capitol said.

The beneficiaries are from the towns of Calatrava, Manapla, EB Magalona, Murcia, Valladolid, San Enrique, Binalbagan, Isabela, Moises Padilla, Hinobaan, and Pontevedra, and the cities of Sagay, Cadiz, Victorias, and La Carlota. | NND
