Negros Occidental provincial government employees might receive “greater” amount of additional bonuses, compared to what they got last year, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz announced Nov. 22.
Each Capitol employee received P40,000 in additional bonuses last year.
Diaz confirmed that the provincial government has started releasing the 14th month pay and the P5,000 cash gift to each of the more than 3,000 Capitol workers.
The 13th month pay, which is equivalent to one month salary, was released by the provincial government to the workers in May this year.
Diaz said Capitol employees will have to wait for the announcement of Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson on the exact amount of the additional bonuses that they will receive.
He also said that bonuses are expected to boost the morale of Capitol employees, who give their best efforts in extending services to fellow Negrenses, despite the COVID-19 pandemic. — GB
