The Campuestohan Highland Resort in Talisay City, Negros Occidental is gearing up for more world records after being recognized by the Guinness World Records for having the largest building in the shape of a chicken.
Businessman Ricardo Tan said they aim to make the Campuestohan Highland Resort a “paradise of world records.”

He shared that the construction of the biggest gorilla family in the world, with a height of 100 feet, and the longest chasing slide and biggest pool tank, measuring 40 meters long, 20 meters wide with a height of 15 meters, are ongoing.
“Inside the tank, there will be a swimming pool, where the chasing slide ends,” he added.
Tan said that next month, they will also start the construction of the “genie lamp” with a wishing well.
“By the end of this year, if we will be lucky, we will have three world record statues at Campuestohan Highland Resort,” he said.
Tan said a 26-seater cable car will join other rides at the resort by early next year.
In October last year, the “largest building in the shape of a chicken”, a 115-foot hotel structure which depicts a rooster, made it to the Guinness World Records.
The Campuestohan Highland Resort
is among the top contributor to tourist arrivals in Negros Occidental.
“Despite the continuing development in the resort, visitors’ safety is a priority. We have a medical team and an ambulance to respond to any emergency situation,” Tan said. | GB
