The Cadiz City government, in celebration of its 58th Charter Day, is calling on visual artists across Negros Occidental to join the province-wide painting competition, featuring an open theme, and with P260,000 in total prize pool.
Deadline of submission of entry forms is on July 1, via courier or walk-in, at Cadiz City Hall 2, addressed to Jason Ryan Ledesma, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The competition is set July 2, starting at 2 p.m., at the Cadiz Arena.
The contest is open to residents of Negros Occidental, 18 years old and above.
Prizes include P100,000 for the first place winner, 2nd place – P60,000, 3rd Place – P40,000, 4th Place – P30,000, and 5th Place – P20,000, the city said.
The five finalists, meanwhile, will receive P10,000 each.
