In celebration of the 34th anniversary of the Bureau of Fire Protection, the Bacolod City Fire Station, headed by F/Supt. Jenny Mae Masip, is calling on the public to join its blood donation drive on Aug. 30 at SM City Bacolod.
The activity, in partnership with Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, SM City Bacolod, and Park Inn by Radisson, will be held, starting at 8 a.m., at the second floor of former Anytime Fitness at the mall.
“This year’s anniversary theme, “Pambansang Bumbero: Bayaning Maasahan”, reminds us that heroism comes in many forms—one of which is by sharing the gift of life through blood donation,” Masip, city fire marshal, said in a statement.
