PCol. Joeresty Coronica, director of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), is up for promotion to a higher position.
Coronica, who served as BCPO chief for one year and six months, hinted on Wednesday (Feb. 4) his relief and transfer to the headquarters of the Police Regional Office- Negros Island Region.
The list of nominees for the next the BCPO chief is now being transmitted to Mayor Greg Gasataya, who will choose the successor of Coronica.
He described his assignment at BCPO as “leadership with sincerity”.
Coronica, who is a Bacolodnon, said he needs to be assigned to another position for his career development.
Prior to his designation as BCPO chief, Coronica served as the director of the Iloilo City Police Office. | GB
